Vincent Van Gogh: Genius Ignored -2

Van Gogh was an indisputable genius, utterly, indisputably ignored.
He created hundreds of bold, brilliant paintings; only one was sold during his lifetime, but now his painting are amongst the highest priced works of art. His Irises sold for $102.3 million in 1987 and Sunflowers sold for $75.4 million the same year. His art is housed in art galleries all over the world

The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam – recently re-opened – houses the largest collection of art works by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) in the world.
